I've just gotten in my copy of "The Sting" Legacy Series in clamshell packaging, supposedly "like new" via Amazon / peaceofmindmedia, and it's missing something.

On the pack panel, there should be a "tack on" piece of paper that serves the purpose of being the cover art for the back side only. "Moulin Rouge" had something similar for some editions.

This bit of paper often falls off or is removed, making the whole thing incomplete to my way of thinking.

Anyone want to give this bit of paper a name, other than half-cover-art?

How about a name for the process by which it gets gone?

I believe paperclips are the larval state of wire clotheshangers. You buy a new box of paperclips, use one, place the box in your desk drawer, and despite your never going to a drycleaners, soon you have no more paperclips in the box, and a closetful of wire clotheshangers.

I don't know where the occasional left sock goes, though.

Good luck!
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

I call it the info-slip and try to hold on to all of them. I usually try not to buy used discs that are missing them either, which is nearly every single used disc that originally had one.
