Trying to locate on which edition of King Kong ( 1933  or 2005)  there was a segment that Weta did by recreating the Lost Spider Pit sequence that was cut  and forever lost from the 1933 film.
Was the Diaries on the 2005 edition (Peter Jackson's) that had this newly formed sequence?
or did the 2005 of Warner Bros remastered 2 disc set hold this New Video on disc two??

It's indeed on Disc 2. The version I have is identical to the one you had, but it was packaged in a metal case and came with a replica of the 1933 premiere program and some poster cards.
