Awesome. I hope they release a BR set as good as the DVD Quadrilogy.

I thought they are basically releasing it as a Quadrilogy again, with apparently some added features? I wouldn't see the point in upgrading if I don't get what I had and then some. If that were the case then I hope I could just get the first 2 films a stand alone releases...

Other than that: also looking forward to Weaver's commentary.

Hopefully they'll add all the features that were in the Legacy set but not the Quadrilogy. I still want to find a (very) cheap copy of the Legacy box for this reason.

While I am no fan of commentaries, this does make me happy I never got the Alien Quad set.  No stress as to whether or not I should upgrade.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Quite a few errors in that article, I hope they got the part about the commentary right...

The DigitalBits has an article in their Rumor Mill (they do however state they cross checked with their industry sources) that the commentraies seem to be happening. Furthermore it seems that not only all extras of the Alien Quad set are carried over but also new ones will be added.

I own the Alien Quad already, that would make an upgrade less painful.
