| Posted: | | | | Sunday, Dec. 20, 91-year-old Arnold Stang died of pneumonia. He had a voice of the dorkiest nerd, and a pipsqueak stature to match. In the 1940s he was sidekick on radio to Henry Morgan. Moving into TV, he was an ensemble player on the Texaco Star Theater, often heckling Milton Berle. In film, he played Sparrow in The Man with the Golden Arm, and was one of the co-owners of the garage destroyed by Jonathan Winters in It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World. He lent his unique voice to Herman the mouse in a series of Famous Studios shorts, and Top Cat on that TV show. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.
