I have 49 that I am waiting to come in the mail.  Idon't list them on profiler until they come in, not even on my ordered list because it will scew up my statistics (there probably is a way around that, but I don't know what it is.)

what statistics?  You have them ordered you have them paid for..,, you really are expecting these titles to arrive.., all you have to do when they arrive is to recheck the upc codes in these ordered titles under your ordered tab..
One of the reasons why I like to keep titles in ordered tab is the date ordered.. I can check back to see how many days or weeks in some cases these titles have yet to hit my doorstep..

All the stats you can get out of DVDP always have the option of which lists to include (owned, ordered, wishlist or any combination thereof) whether in reports or charts so I don't think it will be a problem.

FWIW I act similarly to widescreenforever and make a note of the ordered date, but I do so in the Notes section and use the actual ordered date field for when I receive the "we sent it" email/info.

I used to have a lot of pre-ordered titles but nowadays I have so many in the 'to be watched' pile I tend to wait until the price drops on most things I want to buy so don't have so many. I have quite a few in the 'ordered' list though as if i receive something I'm going to give as a present in the future I leave it there until I give it to a) remind me I have it (!) and b) so the person i'm giving it to can't see it before receiving it as the 'orders' is the one section I hide online.

When I am unwrapping/ checking the disc ID and the upc and transferring form Ordered over to Own, is when I change the date to today's date of disc being added to Owned.
