| Posted: | | | | I have been trying to find out the title of a Vincent Price film.
I saw it in the mid to late 50s. The scenes that I remember are:
Price is on a train as a prisoner and jumps off the train to escape, in the process has to cut his hand off to get out of the handcuffs, while in a river under water.
Next, Price is killing women, one as she lies down in bed Price has set up a guillotine to behead her.
Then another woman is killed by a pair of binoculars as she look through them and adjust them two spikes shoot out into her eyes and kills her.
That is all I can remember. If anyone can tell me the title of this film it would be very appreciated.
Thanks, Jim | | | Jim

| Posted: | | | | There is a British film "Horrors of the Black Museum" not staring Vincent Price, but the cover shows the binocular spikes. The only other one that I can come up with is House of Wax. I do remember an old horror movie with the binocular spikes, I just can't put a handle on which one it is. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. | | | Last edited: by mreeder50 |

| Posted: | | | | The guillotine and the binocular with spikes are definitely from "Horrors of the Black Museum" (starring Michael Gough). The train sequence doesn't sound familiar, though, so I wonder if you are not getting two different films mixed up. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | I probably do have two films mixed up. The only thing left is the train film.
Thanks for your help.

| Posted: | | | | I'm afraid everyone is mixed up. The movie is Chamber of Horrors (1966) and the mad killer is Jason (not Voorhees) played by Patrick O'Neal. Opposing him was a team played by Cesare Danova, Wilfrid Hyde-White and dwarf Tun Tun. It's available as a "Horror Double Feature" together with Brides of Fu Manchu. |
