| Posted: | | | | Anyone have an idea how to handle the mail-order-only Universal Cult Horror Collection? All five of the movies in the box set have been contributed by mdnitoil, but there seems to be no contribution for the box set itself, and it shows no UPC. These films do not come in individual packages, only as members of this box set, and the only cover is the cover of the box set, so I would prefer that these titles go into my Profiler as members of the box set, but I just don't know the best way to get the box set into the database. I have to use some identifier number, and I could just use 000000000001 and ignore the various error messages, but I'm hoping someone has a better solution. |

| Posted: | | | | is the upc code on the bottom of the box set..?? actually I think the case is a five disc flipper type case and not a cardboard box.. | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

| Posted: | | | | see here: http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=420061&PageNum=1&x=0#M1132666basically a manual profile is your only option (at this point unless Ken makes a change to add some other identifier) and it won't be able to be contributed. But since a box set has very minimal info it shouldn't be to hard to create. to add a manual profile go to add by title and uncheck the download profile from Invelos check box the advantage to this over a fake upc is you can't accidently contribute it. also, probably get more responses if you post questions such as these in the contribution forums. -Agrare |

Unfortunately, because the disc IDs need to be used for the individual profiles, there is no way to get this film into the database. You can, as Agrare mentions, create a manual profile for it in your local. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | The entire discussion regarding this exact title can be found here. The short version is that you have to make your own manual profile for the parent. The good news is that the cover art is identical to the child profiles, so you really only need to add the overview and add production year and distribution studio. If there was a way that I could submit, I would. | | | Last edited: by mdnitoil |
