Curse you Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment UK. There I've said it again.

Why curse TCFHE UK I hear some of you ask? The reason is re-use of EANs. I had "Ice Age 3 Dawn of the Dinosaurs" Blu-ray on my wishlist for either a Christmas or birthday gift, my birthday follows Christmas by a week. However no-one bought me it but as I had accumulated some monies from birthday gifts I ordered the ttile from Amazon with a number of of other tiltles from my wishlist. It arrived today and fist thing I noticed was that it wasn't a Triple Play edition like the one I had got for my sister for Christmas, just BD and Digital Copy, but I thought no problemo I didn't really want the DVD anyway. I fired up DVD Profiler and entered the EAN, 5039036042291, and down came the profile - "Ice Age 3 Dawn of the Dinosaurs: Triple Play Edition". I did a quick check by Title just in case this was a mis-profile but no it was the only UK BD for Ice Age 3.
So TCFHE UK have used the Triple Play EAN for the original release and now also for this slightly later re-issue without the DVD. I now wonder if they will again use this EAN when later they re-issue the BD as a single disc without the Digital Copy.

So again I say curse you Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment UK.

It isn't just Fox that is doing this.  See here.  The title that started the thread is, I believe, a Warner release as is Harry Potter, which had the same issue.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Thank you Mr. Martian Sir,

I knew I had read a thread similar to my problem but couldn't find it. I failed to search down deep enough .
