| Posted: | | | | Good grief, death is becoming way too big a part of my life. Since August, I have had a friend lose his wife to cancer and his mother is dying. My youngest brother-in-law passed away because of heart failure.. My wife's ex-husband and one of dearest and longest friends had a fatal coronary, and now my sister-in-laws husband has passed away today. This is getting way too old. I know they are all in a better place and their pain is over but I need a break. Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

Your sister-in-law's husband: Wouldn't that be your brother? It could be but it can also be his wife's sister's husband. |

Your sister-in-law's husband: Wouldn't that be your brother? no, it could be, but I have no brothers. My sister-in-law is my wife's sister and her husband, technically is also my brother-in-law...I think. Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

| Posted: | | | | Sorry to hear of your losses Skip. Unfortunately, at our age, this will become more and more common. 2006 was a bad year for us; both my father and my father-in-law died from cancer, along with a two great aunts who were very close to my wife (one from a heart attack, the other from an accident on the insterstate with a deer). These events seem to come in groups. Hopefully, you will see less stressful times for awhile. | | | Hal |

Skip There's nothing to like in losing anyone, friend, foe or stranger. Everything is impermanent. To quote a sign in the New Orleans' brothel in Easy Rider: "Death only closes a man's reputation and determines it as good or bad." Hang in there, friend. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

| Posted: | | | | Hey Skip, sorry for all of your loses I hope things get better. As for your age, burrowing school books from Jesus will always take it toll. And Moses told me he would like the Aes Rude back he loaned you in 1st grade. But my question to you is what was it like to ride dinosaurs to school. I hope my horrible age jokes at least gave you a small smile today. Good luck and feel better. |
