| Posted: | | | | I've been using DVD Profiler for a couple years now and love it - recently (especially with all of the rental-store closing sales) I've accidentally purchased some movies I already had, only to find out later and have no return policy on it.
So a few questions -
1) Lately I've been just creating a text file on my phone (created from the "title" (left) frame of my online collection - http://www.invelos.com/DVDCollection.aspx/SPIDERone). Problem is, I need to constantly update it. I've tried accessing the online collection from my phone, but with it being such a large page, it really boggs it down. What I would like to do is just link to the left frame (the titles). I've looked into it, but it seems to be a generic URL (http://www.invelos.com/onlinecollections/dvd/InBlue/List.aspx) - is there a way to create a link like this, but to my specific collection?
2) Is there a way to export a basic listing of my collection (similar to the "title" frame mentioned above), but also include the format? Some movies I own but would be interested in the Blu-Ray/HDDVD format, but can't tell if the version I own is the DVD or if it's already the Blu-Ray/HDDVD.
3) Has anyone found an easy method to catalog UMD (PSP) Releases in DVDProfiler? I guess I could enter them as a DVD and simply change the coverart, but then going back to #2, it would cause some confusion as far as which format I already own it on.
Thanks! |

| Posted: | | | | 1) phpmyprofiler might help here: http://www.phpmyprofiler.de/index.php?page=1&lang=EN&PHPSESSID=nfd1414prtu9j65051l3vv7f32You'd need a webhoster that supports PHP. 2) + 3) are not possible yet. If understood correctly the disc format will be available in reports from version 3.6 onwards (Beta available in the Beta testers forum). UMD will quite likely never be officialy supported by DVDProfiler. In version 3.6 you could at least create a custom collection tab where you could put your UMD data. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Any idea when 3.6 might become a public release (if it's soon, 6 months from now, etc..)? |

One other question -- how do I get the "Blu Ray" and "HDDVD" tops of the cases added to my collection? I noticed some titles have it, while ones that I add myself don't. |

One other question -- how do I get the "Blu Ray" and "HDDVD" tops of the cases added to my collection? I noticed some titles have it, while ones that I add myself don't. The Blu-Ray and HD-DVD banners are added automatically when you select the correct format. If ''m correct adding a new title not yet in the DB (so you create it yourself). it standard creates a DVD. You can than edit the profile and change the format from DVD to BR or HDDVD. A bannner should than appear. Also it's possible the slipcover is ticked in which case you won't get a Banner because the slipcover proabaly already has one. Hope this helps, Paul |
