Lucky you Glad to have them again in our country even if the hockey tournament will make me go to bed very late since we have a 3 hours jetlag. You're lucky they aren't anymore the money pit they were when we got ours in 76. The debt was cleared only 4 or 5 years ago... | | | Last edited: by Jimmy S |

Skip Yup, when the Summer Olympics were here in Atlanta, I left town for two weeks. I didn't rent my house, but I seriously considered it at $2,000 a week!!!! | | | Hal |

| Posted: | | | | Yep that snow you see in the video was from last year.. We are having better weather ( no snow ).., than Arizona.,, Less rain than LA .,, and milder temperatures than parts of Florida early this month .. bring your bathing suits for our Winter Olympics.. But seriously .. The weather we're having is from the El Nino could quit at any time and the snow will be here.. But it sure is nice not to shovel and scape... | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

| Posted: | | | | In the Phoenix, AZ are we've had more rain this month than we had all last year. That still under 3.00 inches. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. | Posted: | | | | Vancouver is the area city,, All the indoor venues will be ready to go with skating rinks etc.., the 'snow' itself is located 70 miles outside of Vancouver to the North in a skiing village named Whistler . There they have a good amount of snow for all the snow related venues .. | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

| Posted: | | | | I'm already sick of hearing about them. I'm not sold on the positive financial impact they claim the games will have. I work in Vancouver and live in the suburbs, Port Moody, about an hour away and am not looking forward to the commute. If the games were really about the sport I might be down with it, but it's not. It's all about the money, corporate sponsorships and how much money everyone involved can make. Plus, I'd rather spend my money on Blu-rays & DVDs! | | | HDTV: 52" Toshiba Regza 52XV545U AVR: Onkyo TR-707 Speakers: Paradigm Monitor 7 v6, CC-190 & Atom Monitors Subwoofer: Definitive Technology ProSub 800 BD/DVD: Oppo BDP-93 (Region Free) HD PVR: Motorola DXC3400 500GB w/ 1TB Expander BD/DVD/Game: 250GB PS3 Slim DVD/Game: 250GB XBox 360 Elite Special Edition (Black) Game: Wii Remote: Logitech Harmony One w/ PS3 Adapter WHS: Acer H341 Windows Home Server |
