I am working my way through the recently purchased Farscape: Complete Series (I just started Season Two) and I am amazed what a great TV show this was. Somehow I had forgotten. A&E has done a great job cleaning this up. Even though it is only 4:3 standard def, it really looks quite excellent, even after being spoiled by the gobs of HD media I have been watching. The sound is fairly spiffy too (DD 5.1), certainly better than when it was broadcast And how yummy is Claudia Black?

Anyway, I just though I would do a morning over-share, please return to your regularly scheduled whatever it is you all do.

Yes Farscape was a great show with very weird storylines. If you like Farscape, you should try the Hitchhiker book series or the Thursday Next book series or the british Doctor Who series.

I had my Farscape marathon last month.  It was a great show that ended far too soon...and 'yummy' doesn't even begin to describe Claudia Black.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

I have read and re-read Hitchhiker many times over the years, and I have been a fan and regular watcher of Doctor Who since I was knee-high to a grapefruit and Tom Baker was working his ridiculously long scarf. I will check out the Thursday Next series you mentioned, however.
