| Posted: | | | | And guess what not only do they insult fans by not bringing out the extended editions but screw up the video but at least the audio appears to be excellent shape.
Still can't help but feel this is a real quick cash in than a true upgrade to HD for the rings trilogy.

I don't have a link at hand, but as far as I remember they will be released around the cinema start of "The Hobbit" which is planned for December 2011. I hope I'm wrong... | | | Last edited: by SpaceFreakMicha |

I really don't care about the video quality of these as I'll be waiting for the extended versions! | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. | | | Last edited: by Mark Harrison |

| Posted: | | | | I'd also heard the extended versions will be released at about the same time as The Hobbit.
I hope they give the real release a better treatment than it seems this version got. |

| Posted: | | | | I don't see any point in buying an inferior version of the movies knowing the extended versions are coming. Let's just hope the transfers are better and the extras are as good as the DVD originals.
I'm glad the two versions weren't released in the same set. It would've been way too expensive. I think it would've been a good idea to release both versions at the same time in separate sets. | | | Just in from somewhere left of the middle of nowhere The Holy See Hell |
