| Posted: | | | | Out of the blue it started running loudly. I only watch Blu Rays on it. I don't play video games and got it because it was the chepest and only wifi player at the time. It has run fine for years. The only thing I can think of is I have a Terminator 2 Blu Ray collectors head next to it; but it ran fine for about three weeks with the head next to it, any ideads on how to fix it. I do not want to buy a new player until 32 comes down in price and they have a 5 disc changer. |

| Posted: | | | | Yeah it is pretty weird, I don't really understand why that was causin a problem. I also dusted the vents, which were not very dusty but that may have helped as well. |

| Posted: | | | | You were probably obstructing the air vents. Make sure they're dust free and not covered. |

| Posted: | | | | Could have been just a vibration coming from the head that sounded like it was the machine. That drawer in the back maybe. Or the RF Interference. |

If it does, you know what to do You have to start worrying if your PS3 wants to be addressed as HAL 9000 Back ontopic, what the TS discribed looks like a bad fan or like he said something that vibrates if it's standing near the PS3. Sometimes a 'cold' fan will make loud noises which fade after a couple if minutes. |
