1- AFI's first top 100- I finished this one
2- AFI's secound top 100- also finished
3- Best Picture winners- Finished
4- Time top 100- I finished this list, minus The Last Command, because it has never been relased in any country.  This list is excellent because it includes foringn films
5- A llist in the back of the book How To Become A Film Critique The Worlds Greatest Job"- I am slowly working on this one.  This is a slow month for new releses so hopefully I can put a dent in it.  I like this list because it is an overview of movies.

Some things that Would be cool to complete but I don't touch
1- IMDB top 250-  It is not worth collecting a list that always is cnangin
2- The Criterion Collection-  It would be way to exspensive at this point, so I just buy what I like.  Although I own everthing they have relsed on Blu Ray and will continue to but every Blu Ray relse they have.  This is a manageable task.  Althought I still want the DVD's of Salu, The Thief Of Bagdad, The Flowers of Saint Francis and The Bicycle Thief.

As soon as i seen Titanic in the AFI list they lost all credibility. Times list is ok but how the hell is There Will Be Blood number 2

I seen it not that long ago at last and i was highly impressed a masterpiece? Yes it is and it is in my top 100 Daniel Day Lewis perfects that awesome  ham acting and makes it something so over acted yet memorable. Yeah i don't think he is that great an actor but i respect like when you give Christopher Walken 3 mins of screen time it can be turned into something memorable.

Number 2? Emm no. Lists? Oscars? No thank you i research or sometimes blind buy. IMDB is actually a good tool for looking up films with certain actors or directors in it your interested in.

I do seem to however be gathering a lot of films from the film 4 library. Soon to be more as Ken Loach is one of my fav directors and i need to add a few more of his to my collection.
