I have quite a few that came in those oversized Jewel Cases (mostly Platinum Disc releases), but only a few that came in CD-sized Jewel Cases (mostly Simitar releases)...and those had larger DVD-sized Slip Covers over them. | | | | Corey |

I saw a few of the Simitar cd-size jewels back when I first got into dvd, but never ended up with any.
I also remember and miss Suncoast. Way overpriced, but had everything and was the place to get those rare and OOP discs (and some decent sales). I even have them with an "R.I.P." attached to their name in my local list of stores. |

The only title I had like this was Elite's THX - Night of The Living Dead .. | | Posted: | | | | No, the worst case, and one I think Warner has done away with (though they're still in stores), is the snapper cases. I'm so glad Warner is releasing some Clint Eastwood movies like Absolute Power and The Rookie onto Blu-ray, then I get get rid of those snappers. Pieces of crap they are. |

| | Posted: | | | | After a few years, the movie industry ditched the jewel cases. And some time after that, the totally oblivious music industry started using them. Great move there....  Many of these cases crack when they were shipped to stores/customers and replacements are not as available as the generic amarays. And you can't repack them into an amaray, because the sleeve doesn't fit. Again, grrreat move there. |
