I have seen in this thread http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=409797 that a few people have framed posters and I was wondering if anyone had a preference, or if one type was better than another? I have looked around and haven't been able to find one large enough, except on the net, can anyone recommend a good online store to buy one from?

Thanks B.

Try allposters.com
At least in Germany they have quite good frames for reasonable prices.
Default frames are up to 27.56 x 39.37 inches
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I don't see any large enough, the largest I see is 26 x 38. Thanks though.

I got all my frames from a store specializing in framing paintings, foto's or whatever.

Maybe slightly more expensive, but I could never frame them this well, and virtualy no size limit.

The one below is about 65 x 36.

In Tucson we have a craft store called Michael's.  I think they are a national chain and have all sizes of precut frames as wells as being reasonably priced for custom frames.

I hadn't checked there, I checked at a place called Hobby Lobby, but they didn't have one that was large enough. I will have to check there.

Watch your local paper for Michael's flyers as they seemingly always have 50% off one item coupons in them.

Yeah, Michaels is one of the places to go for frames. Ours has a special department just for framing, so it should be able to customize things for you.  Along with the coupons, they seem to have special framing specials frequently.  Along the lines of 40-50% off one frame job or buy 1 get 1 half off...

They do, but its completely in Dutch. I live in Belgium

And they don't do internet sales sadly.

Here is the site.

For the best in the business, look no further than Hollywood Poster Frames.

Susan is the best at what she does and offers an excellent price.

Here are a few examples of her work.

All of these are the "Deluxe Frame".

The 3-sheet on the left (Custer's Last Fight) is not her work.
