I'm officially old.

Not one show on CBS, ABC or NBC has any interest for me. When Bones and the Simpsons are the only (old) shows which I care about, and I have enjoyed the Human Target for its cast, I'm in real trouble.

I'll stick to HBO, Showtime, Bravo and a few other non-broadcast sources for my entertainment.

Goodbye, networks. It was nice to know you once.

(Is Lonestar based on the John Sayles' movie? That could be interesting. I need to look into this...)

No, it appears that Lonestar is a soap.

Rats.

Nearly nothing.

Oh well, I own DVDs.

And there's TCM!

I'm also not overly keen on what I've seen so far.

But I didn't think I would anjoy that many new shows from this season either. At some points I've watched 23 different shows per week. So far I've watched over 450 new episodes in this TV season and many of them will make it onto my DVD shelf.

I get "irony." I get "postmodern." I just don't find either of them capable of entertaining me for more than a minute or two any given month. I'm old. I get it.

Where's Twilight Zone? Dick Van Dyke? M*A*S*H? The Paper Chase? Hell, where's Ed Sullivan?

When Dancing with the Stars offers the best drama and comedy on network TV, we are all truly in trouble.

Some interesting new shows. But it seems like the original Law & Order has been canceled. Too bad. I assume Criminal Intent will continue on the USA network?

Excited about the new L&O, Criminal Minds spin-off and Mike and Molly.

Great!! Now CSI: Miami will get screwed by NFL Football in the fall. That's part of why Cold Case got cancelled. Ratings too low because it went on late 3/4 of the time.

My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it!

how would csi miami start late. thier is no football on sunday night at 10:00 on cbs. sunday night football is on NBC.
