I have this movie on Blu Ray but the only version on DVD profiler doesn't have the same UPC as my one.
Is there's a way I could copy the information from the one already set-up with a new UPC?
I'm not looking to replace the other, just add another UPC to it without having to set up the whole thing from scratch myself.
Thanks in advance. | | | Steve

Take the one in the database > DVD > Change UPC.
You will find "DVD" at the top of your computer between "Collection" and "View". Once you touch that a list comes up and you will see "Change UPC" in this list.
You will need to change any data that is incorrect but this saves a lot of typing. |

No, changing the UPC breaks all connections with the original profile so it won't be affected by anything you do to the new profile. But be warned if you want to submit it, it will be classed as a new submission so you have to document all the data on the profile. |

| Posted: | | | | Submitted and rejected (rightly tbf) because I'd used the cover scan from the original entry (I forgot this would have the other UPC/EAN number on it). I don't have a scanner to scan the back cover with my UPC/EAN number on it so if I photo shopped the barcode onto the original image (replacing the original EAN with the one that is on mine) using a barcode generator would this be likely to be accepted until I got round to actually getting a scan? I hope that makes sense. | | | Steve

Donnie I agree with DarklyNoon. Of course you can do that for your own database, but for the online I think it's better to avoid mock-ups of covers. Just submit without them, or if the front cover is identical, use that for the back cover (that's allowed in the rules). |
