| | Posted: | | | | In Germany there's also a Father's Day, but it is no special day, the German fathers celebrate it on the churchly holiday "Christi Himmelfahrt".
Imho they just started to celebrate to have a day to celebrate. But to have a special Father's Day is cool. |

Unser Vater ...
Unser Vater ist der Größte,
unser Vater ist ein Held -
will für alle nur das Beste,
opfert uns sein ganzes Geld.
Unser Vater trimmt uns fitter
als die andern alle sind.
Einen superguten Vater
erkennt man gleich am eignen Kind.
Unser Vater in der Schule
kämpft mit Lehrern wie ein Hund,
wenn sie uns zu sehr sekkieren -
sagt er kurz: “Ihr treibt´s zu bund!“
Unser Vater geht in allem
wie ein Vorbild uns voran.
Unser Papa ist der Beste -
denn er ist ein super Mann.
Heute woll´n wir Vater feiern
denn heute ist sein großer Tag.
Wir kochen Schinken ihm mit Eiern -
weil er das so gerne mag.
Liebe Väter lasst euch sagen,
die Euren lieben euch so sehr.
Alles Gute zu eurem Festtag -
