The British Film Institute should remaster The Birds at great expense. Then we could compare the old DVD from 2000 to the remastered version on B-rD in 'Which BD provides the biggest Difference to the DVD Version?'. | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. From their site "£100,000 - can secure the full restoration of a single feature film" isn't there a Hollywood big shot willing to donate that? Spielberg, Clooney, Bay?? Anyone? £100,000 doesn't seem much to preserve some old movies, and i'm sure there are a lot of Hollywood resident's who could miss £100,000. Just buy one car less Paul |
