what movie shows wealthy friends eating at a nice restaurant while their not so wealthy friends are eating outside by a campfire, possibly on a beach?

There is such an episode in the early seasons of Friends (season 1 or 2) where Ross, Monica and Chandler can afford to eat at a restaurant regularily and Rachel, Joey and Phoebe have a money problem.

It's not a camp fire, but it's basically what you're describing.

PS: The episode I mean is Season 2, Episode 5: The One with Five Steaks and an Eggplant

When my wife described this scene to me, I said it reminded me of the scene you described, but it wasn't what she was referring to. Thanks for making a suggestion though.

I haven't even seen this movie, but maybe Friends with Money? The general plot of that movie sounds like it could allow for a scene like that. Coincidentally, Jennifer Aniston has a role in it, just like Friends.

Anyway, chances are it's not this movie, but thought I'd throw it out there.

No, that's not it either. She hasn't seen that movie. Thanks for your idea though. She spent about two hours last night fast forwarding through movies she thought it might be, but she didn't find the one.
