Would only need 3 file-dialogs to enter XML, XSLT and the name/location for the output. I don't know the first thing about programming, but with the MSXML-libs the underlying functions should be already there? I'm asking because small and specific problems like Flag All Child Profiles? are very easy solvable with XSLT, but the whole explaining how to run them is always tedious, and I'm afraid in a lot of cases simply to frightening for unexperienced users. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

Just one little thing: In my example a DVDP flag set is created, so it would be nice, if your tool would append .txt to the specified output file only if the file extension is missing. And I also have a feature request: save and load setting files with predefined file paths! That way the whole process could be done in only two steps, exporting the collection.xml and running your tool with a given settings file (also as parameter). | | |
