| | Posted: | | | | He can sing...he did in Sweeney Todd..the one with Johnny Depp. And that was a different sort of performance than he's done in other stuff. More restrained. I have a book about the making of the movie too and it talks about how hard he worked on the sining. So it seems like he can take things more seriously. Though the singing in Sweeney Todd is different from what he'd have to do as Freddie Mercury. | | |  |

I'm trying to think of anyone else for the role, and coming up empty. Does anyone have any other suggestions for actors other than "not Sasha"? |

Best would be to take a not famous actors so there is more concentration on the movie
