| Posted: | | | | Just bought Gladiator: Sapphire Series from HD Movie Source. In my order it says Remastered Version, but how do I know that it's actually the new remastered version. Is there another UPC or anything else that confirms that this is the remastered version? | | | "What's God?" Does it look better? Never had the first version, so I really can't compare.. | | | "What's God?" "You know when you want something really bad and you wish for it?, God's the guy that ignores you" -The Island, Steve Buscemi |

| Posted: | | | | Yours is the remastered edition, but pre-recall. Meaning, while it is remastered it has excessive DNR that has been corrected in later pressings of the same disc/UPC. Devion27 is indeed correct when he says that the corrected version has a yellow UPC, while the original release has a white UPC. There's an exchange program, but I don't know it's open to folks outside the U.S... More info here: http://www.dvdtown.com/news/paramount-creates-exchange-program-for-us-gladiator-blu-ray-release/7839I believe that all this applies only to the North American release. If you've got the European release I think you already have the corrected version. | | | Tags, tags, bo bags, banana fana fo fags, mi my mo mags, TAGS! Dolly's not alone. You can also clone profiles. No clue. Might wanna give Paramount a call or send them an e-mail. | | | Tags, tags, bo bags, banana fana fo fags, mi my mo mags, TAGS! Dolly's not alone. You can also clone profiles. I would have thought that, if the remastering was of any use, the informations from the online B-rD comparisons would suffice to identify the version. | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played.
