| Posted: | | | | Highly recommended. Ultra-violent, ultra-stylish and an absolute blast, this film is pretty much responsible for getting me interested in Asian cinema. Even if it isn't your type of film, it has to be seen to be believed. Remake is supposedly coming in 2011. I am gutted though because I have the BR pre-ordered (out next week) and I won't be able to grab it until the 30th because I'm away for 4 weeks |

| Posted: | | | | Such a good movie! I would only give it a "Recommended" - but that's because it isn't a film for everyone. The right person, I would say "Highly Recommended." But there are some people (I know at least two) who simply couldn't handle this film. The book is very good as well, and so is the manga. Like Chris, I haven't seen the sequel, even though I have a (bootleg) copy of it. I have two different bootlegs because this has never been released R1. (Learned they were boots after I acquired them. Shoulda done my research first) | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |

(Learned they were boots after I acquired them. Shoulda done my research first) Most of (maybe all?) of Arrow's BR output has so far been region free. This is over 40% off on pre-order at Amazon.co.uk - 3 discs and limited to 10000 copies. Out 13th Dec not next week sorry. hat am I confusing myself with |

| Posted: | | | | Strangely I've never seen it though I own a lot of Asian films and like most of them. The new BD release looks tempting but slightly overkill for me, I think I'll wait for a standard and lower priced edition. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

You have to let me know if that will play region A! According to the information found on twitch it is. I used to own HK releases of BR 1 and 2 but later replaced those with the SE releases from Tartan (UK), part 2 isn't very good i have to agree. BTW: Samuaelrichardscott, is was supposed to be released 29th of november but it was deleayed, guess i'll have to wait some more, Paul |

| Posted: | | | | Highly recommended from me. Looking forward to picking up the forthcoming UK Limited Edition Blu-Ray set on 13th December, too. Just avoid the terrible sequel, which I had the misfortune to pay for and watch at the cinema. | | | DVD Blu-Ray LastFM |
