| | Posted: | | | | just a heads up. ive experienced an problem with my Ultimate Farscape Collection where the discs make a very loud whirring when played. i have had returned mine to Amazon and ive been led to believe that this may be a problem with the pressing of this collection. its a shame. this is a fantastic collection of a great program. | | | That's the thing about racism, though, most of it is covert.

| | Posted: | | | | Maybe he means the "Definitive Collection" that has been released in UK a few weeks ago. I also have it and some discs make that noise, but otherwise they play without problem. It's a nice box, including all four seasons, Peacekeeper Wars movie and 6 bonus discs, but unfortunately they have no subs.  |

yeah i loved the collection too (though the lack of subs was really irritating....) but the discs making that noise was too worrying for me and after looking around i realised that i had no choice but return it. My various devices are currently beyond my finances to replace so i cant take any risks with them. I'm irritated cos i really didn't want to return them but as it appears to be a problem with the set.... i saw no way out.... oh well with the refund ill probably get the BSG bluray set! | | | That's the thing about racism, though, most of it is covert.

I'm relieved though that my gift will not have to be returned - my brother really loves this series.

I didn't see Farscape yet, but unfortunately already own Seasons 1 and 3 and The Peacekeeper Wars. Same here (well 1 & 2 and the Peacekeeper Wars) - it's an unfortunate position but the Definitive Collection is already going for about the £60 mark and it's only been out a month.
