| Posted: | | | | Director's cut, IMO. It is quite the same than Theatrical with a few added or extended sequences (and it is not nessary to watch theatrical after). Extended Cut is rather different, with a scene deleted in the middle, allowing a totally different ending. Could also be seen first, but you have no idea of the theatrical ending. | | | Images from movies | | | Last edited: by surfeur51 |

| Posted: | | | | Yeah, the extended cut. It's very different than the theatrical version and from others I've talked to is a better film overall as well.
SPOILER The one big scene in the middle is very different, well same outcome for one character but the scene itself is far more intense. | | | Last edited: by The Movieman |

| Posted: | | | | IDK, I kind of liked this ending. Pretty interesting and in this case, but in general not sure how it takes away from the magic. Can you expand on that? |

I really like the extended, so if the Director's makes a different ending, I'm really interested in watching it now. | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com

If they do the same thing in a different way, those are ok. But when like suddenly someone doesnt die or something similar. It kinda ruins it for me. To me it feels like when you're watching a movie, and after that end credits the director shouts "JUST KIDDING!". |

See, I like alternate endings because somewhere along the way the director (or producers) found something "wrong" (either because it didn't test well or they wanted to make more main stream) so I like to see what they did and better yet, explain why they had the alt. ending in the first place. Most of the time the alternate ending is nothing but a few extra moments which doesn't really change anything while a few others do have an impact. |
