| Posted: | | | | I don't know is it just me or does Ann Hathaway just look a bit to clean and shiny to be cat women. I can't see her fitting into this more realistic telling of Batman.
But it's Nolan we are talking about here so he must know what he is doing. | | | Last edited: by ShinyDiscGuy |

Just cause you wish you where in that tent with Heath We know where your mind is... But in all seriousness, I do think Hathaway will do a good job and she has the acting chops to pull it off (although I wasn't a fan of Rachel Getting Married as a whole, she was great in it). Now there's still a good possibility of another female role being filled because in recent weeks The Hollywood Reporter specifically mentioned Talia Al Ghul being in it so it should be interesting to see who is cast there. |

Don't want a Spiderman 3 though. To many characters. Well, it wasn't that there were too many characters but the fact it was poorly written. Remember, Venom was only included because the studio wanted it and Raimi forced him in there rather than the character being a necessity to the story. At this point, I don't think Warner is making any demands on Nolan given how much money he has made them between TDK and Inception... |

True but i still state that having to many characters villains that is is hindrance. Well, it worked fine in TDK where you had: The Joker, Two-Face (for the third act), Maroni (Eric Roberts character) and all the other mobsters. So you had villains of varying degrees of participation. For TDKR, I suspect it will be similar meaning you will have the primary villain (in TDK it was the Joker) and then you have other hinderances that feed into the overall story that Batman has to deal with. Catwoman in fact may just be a pawn working for Talia (or Bane) to achieve some overall goal. The reason some superhero movies fail isn't because there are too many but because some other aspect (casting, script, direction) just stunk (see: Batman & Robin and the aforementioned Spider-Man 3). |
