| Posted: | | | | I pre-ordered it last week, and picked it up in the store also. I was going to get The Last House on the Left Blu-ray, but apparently this store didn't get it in. They have the most useless "know nothing" employees at this BB store in history. They're always doing nothing but standing around talking to each other, and I had to wait forever even to be waited on...and they weren't even busy! Exactly why I go to the local store as little as possible. | | | Corey |

| Posted: | | | | I guess I've gotten lucky here as I haven't had much troubles with the employees in this area. In fact, on Sunday they had just about every exclusive title out except Almost Famous which was set to be on sale that day (the others weren't supposed to be on sale until today) so the guy looked it up on the computer and confirmed it was supposed to be out Sunday and that they had it in stock. He went into the back got all the copies they had and handed me one.
Katatonia, did you check Best Buy's website to see if they had it in stock? It could be they're in the back and just never got put out. |

| Posted: | | | | My experience with BB is pretty much the same as TheMovieman's. Always excelent service and quick to get an answer for me. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. Last House On The Left (1972) (Best Buy Exclusive)- Blu-ray Disc That sucks. What you could do is go in-store and, if yours is like mine, there should be a computer available for customers near the customer service area and just type in the film title there. Click the appropriate link and on top it will say how many of that title that store has in stock. I did this with Almost Famous. | | | Last edited: by The Movieman |

A computer you can use yourself? Employees that know stuff? Helpful? No happy funtimeing way, not at Best Buy! Yesterday I asked about a blu ray, and a dude who first admited he didn't know what I was talking about, instantly changes his tune to "no, I didn't seee any in back, I looked earier for someone else". Really, cuz 10 seconds ago you had no idea what I was talking about, but now you had a moment of clarity and it all comes rushing back when I ask you to go take a look? I guess so ( ) because I've had basically the same experience there since they opened several years ago (with maybe one or two exceptions). In fact, I remember the one and only time I shopped there on Black Friday (don't like the crowds so don't do it anymore) I was standing in line with items and forgot something and one of the employees actually went and brought it to me... | | | Last edited: by The Movieman |

Man, I'd have to personally pay one of the employees here to go get something for me at this store. They always act like it's a chore to search for anything in the store or their computer system. | | | Corey |

| Posted: | | | | I know what you mean Kat, for a very long time the Best Buy here where I live was very good, but in the last year or so most of the employees that were worth or knew anything have seemed to have gone to greener pastures I guess. Now it seems they nothing but nimrods working there. Rory | | | DVD Profiler for iOS as of 3/5/2013 DVD Profiler for Android as of 5/17/2013 |

Rory Rory, the store here used to be good for the first 5 or so years it was open. I think it opened here back in 2001-2002, or thereabouts. Back then they actually had well trained employees who were helpful and basically knew what they were doing. And then about 3-4 years ago, the store's quality took a major nosedive. Employees suddenly didn't know anything, and certainly weren't doing their jobs with any competence. Sometimes you'll run into an employee who is helpful and knows what they're doing, but it's rare. If they even had a better DVD/Blu-ray selection at this store, I might stop in more...but it's slim pickings here anymore. My friend took her computer in to their so-called "Geek Squad" a couple of years ago, and they couldn't even fix something simple. I then took a look at it for her, and it was just a virus that needed to be cleaned/removed from her system. It was simple and took hardly no time at all...yet they couldn't even handle that. | | | Corey |
