What add-ons do you use for your web browser?  I'm looking for some other interesting ones that I haven't taken a look at yet, but I'm bored with "What are the best plugins?"-type searches. That's just a side note, though.

Other than website-specific ones, these are extensions I use:

  • AdBlock Plus for blocking scripts, flash clips, and images related to ads.
  • AdBlock Plus Pop-up Addon blocks pop-ups and pop-unders
  • Conduit Engine which is basically a central point for a database of apps
  • Freecorder Community Toolbar for recording and converting streaming video and audio to other formats
  • Greasmonkey which lets you add and run extra scripts that changes the look and behavior of different webpages
  • gui:config which makes it easier to change some additional browser settings not seen in the default options
  • Hide Google Options to remove the sidebar on Google search pages
  • NoScript for blocking a lot of Java and JavaScript-related stuff
  • Organize Status Bar hides and/or rearranges everything found in the browser's status bar

  • All of my plugins are for playing different kinds of media through my browser.
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

He who MUST get the last word in on a pointless, endless argument doesn't win. It makes him the bigger jerk.

Here's what I use for firefox:

    - Xmarks: to keep my bookmarks synced between various computers
    - User Agent Switcher: to fool Apple's trailer site to think I'm using Quicktime or an apple device to access the trailers (circumvents the download block so I can download the trailers)
    - Personas: to change the look of my Firefox
    Blu-ray collection
    DVD collection
    My Games
    My Trophies

Download Statusbar: Gets rid of that stupid download window and puts buttons near your status bar.

  • YouTube Downloader - nice extension to download YT-Videos hassle-free by integrating a download-button into the page. sample picture

  • SnapLinks - to open multiple links at once. Just found this one while looking for the YT-Downloader.

  • No Add-block (yet?), because I can just ignore them.
That's about it, everything else I need, like mouse-gestures, search-engines and bookmark-syncing,  is integrated in Opera.

    In Chrome i've added:
    • Google Dictionary: double click on a word and the meaning is displayed
    • AdBlock
    • Chrome Live Football: (Soccer for the US readers amongst us): Which gives you live match scores as well as links to watch the actual game in your browser for free
    • Chrome TV: Watch TV in your browser
    • Currency Converter
    • Fast Youtbe Search: Opens up a searchbar and than goes to the correct YoyTube page immediately
    • You Tube Downloader: allows you to download You Tube clips
    • Amazon Wish List: allows you to add things to your amazon wishlist, whether amazon sells it or not
    • Go to IMBD: highlight a movie title and the IMDb score is shown, click to go to the movie's IMDB page
    • Website of Trust: shows wether or not the site you're about to visit can be trusted

    Same here.

Even though the usage of PayPal is still somewhat inconvenient (Means: doesn't work).
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
