Need HELP , I lost most of my profiler downloads, when I tried to get the cast/crew to come up on the screen. I was told to Download the online collection and override my local collection, well I goofed up and lost a lot of my collection,Out of 2,000 files I only have (915) in my profiler, What are my Options to retrive the others,or do I have to enter them 1/by one.I have most of them on My other computer in Ohio, I am in Fla,for the winter,will go back in May, Should I just start adding now what I make and hope they transfer to the ones in Ohio, Any HELP would be helpful.

Okay, I think I understand...

You have two computers, and one is in Ohio and the other is in Florida? The Ohio computer has the most complete version of your personal collection, but you're in Florida until May and your collection stored there is less complete?

If you didn't keep your Online Collection current/synced before the move, then you won't be able to recover everything by that method on your computer in Florida.

The other way is if you kept a database backup of your Ohio computer's hard drive, and have it in Florida to restore.

Or as DJ Doena said above, get someone in Ohio to access the computer there and do a backup. They can then send it to you in Florida.

very first step: Backup!
File -> Backup Database -> and either choose Full Backup for the whole shebang, or if disk space is an issue Custom Backup and untick Covers.

After that do a database repair: Tools -> Options -> Utilities -> Repair Profile Database
Because Profiler acts really strange if there is an error in one of the files. After that look if the cast and crew is visible and if not try updating all profiles.
