Just saw Battle: Los Angeles. Thought it was a good movie with a similar feel to District 9 and Aaron Eckhart impressed me. Anyone else see it?

In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

CGI for that movie at least for all the Mars scenes is pretty cool looking. Hope you enjoy it.

The B-rD does not seem to have a release date yet.
Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect]

Just got back from Battle: LA

Cloverfield meets District 9

Not bad, not particularly compelling or new war story.

Too much of the shaky cam, glad I was at the back of the theater for that or I would have hurled up my dinner.

I would say its a Rental or a $1 night movie.

It's a modern plague. Thanks for the warning. I'll postpone seeing this (which is a shame, because it's a concept that should always be cool).

Born Ultimatum was the worst example of shaky cam. Could not make out a thing and was getting headaches from it to

And i take you guys are meaning Battle: Los Angeles is good as a popcorn fodder film. Nothing complex, just a good solid 1hr 30mins of brainless fun?

There's some character development but mainly around just two characters. It didn't require much thinking but I still enjoyed it.

Cool i seen 2012 and found it some entertainment value to it. Full of many funny parts. Such as when Oliver Platt said "leave it to the Chinese to build something this fast" (2012's apparent reason for why a whole fleet of high tec giant (and i mean giant) ships where completed in less than 2 years)

The title of the movie probably didn't help things.
