I usually Photoshop a Master scan for the Inital box set and leave out all inside Information blank - (runtime./year / cast crew etc etc etc .. ) then I make that title no upc or Disc Id . I Just place a 'physical number' under DVD/ change upc to i.e. 000001 / 000002 / .......000026 etc .. I then make sure that this title is set for Exclusions ( all three Hides ticked) ,, I find this groups my special titles better than using Tags etc .. ( in most cases) My lists (so far) includes Walt Disney / Stephen King / Alfred Hitchcock / Stanley Kubrick/ High Defination DVD's ( both Blue Ray and HDDVD) / My granddaughters 'special list' of Her own movies) / Television Nostalgia ( prior to 1990) / Criterion Collection / Documentaries / Television Special Events ( such as Roots or Cosmos etc ....... many more but you get the drift .. ... if so-- What are your Box set Titles for Individual Titles .. ?? | | Posted: | | | | I've created manual box sets for some of my anime series, the ones where I've bought the discs individually. If I have a box for it, it gets that contributable box. If I don't have a box for the series it gets a manual box.
On the opposite side I've also made manual profiles for box sets where the discs contain more than one movie on a single side, so that the individual movies have individual profiles. | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.

So I'm an anarchist, deal with it. Just be thankful I don't include most of my records and CDs etc in it too; don't think I haven't been tempted... |

Not that I see it as a cardinal sin to create virtual boxed sets, but to me doing it would seem. . . inaccurate, I suppose.
The only instance where I might consider it is if a set had been released at some time a boxed set, but then nothing would be virtual or created extra. I would download (or create if needed) the existing boxed set and replace the existing profiles with my own. | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

I do use tags to group things, though, instead. The physical box sets are alphabetized within my collection by the box set name. | | | | Lori |

Most of the following have no release date. Some of the college lecture courses did not have UPCs and some are on tape so i had to do something. On my old 486 I had my own db I wrote with a version for LPs, CDs, LDs and books. For example, it would go something like:
