| Posted: | | | | I jumped on this last night when I was making another BD order with Amazon.uk. Can't beat it at that price (with shipping to the US it was only £6). |

| Posted: | | | | And the price has gone up to a more respectable £12.93. However my order on the Amazon website still shows 3.99. So we'll see what transpires | | | Chris |

| Posted: | | | | They have cancelled some of my recent misprices today including Fight Club (£2.97). It's unlike them but they were up for a while and probably sold in a daft amount. This seems safe still though, fingers crossed. |

They should have just honoured it. Well, they do have a clear policy on this: Quote: Quoting Amazon.co.uk pricing policy: If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we charge the lower amount and send you the item.
If a product's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will cancel your order and notify you of that cancellation.
Just got my cancellation e-mail, too |

| Posted: | | | | I also received the cancellation email. Oh well... I placed (another) order for the limited edition SteelBook instead. Amazon UK kind of screw up big once in a while. I had an order (about $80 worth) several months ago that shipped, and then they sent me an email several days later saying the package had been returned to them as undeliverable. I contacted them via customer service, since I doubted that it got to the US and then back to the UK within the span of only a few days. The customer service rep assured me that it had been returned to them. They processed a full refund. About a week later the package arrived at my door. Does that make any sense? | | | Corey | | | Last edited: by Katatonia |

Just got my cancellation e-mail, too Yep. The way I look at it, if I get it great, if not, what have I lost? I was one of few that got refunded on the Fight Club / (500) Days of Summer for £2.97 each. Most people got this one. A few years a ago I got Season 3 or 4 of The Simpons on release for £2.99 (obv meant to be £29.99). |

| Posted: | | | | It is worth complaining sometimes.
I had ordered a book that has not yet been published.
I knew it was the right book, as the cover image was on the selling page. Even though the title was [UNKNOWN]
So, time passed.... the price went from £16.81 down to £14.10
Then... the publishers cancelled that particular ISBN numbered order, and re-issued it as the correct title (now shown with NO image, go figure)
The price was now £17.
I emailed to say that in previous times when an [UNKNOWN] titled book had been sold to me, it was automatically associated with the "Actual" publication. (This has happened on several occasions, so I knew that was what they normally did)
They agreed with me, and have stated they are honouring the lowest price I had received on the now dead order.
Although, to be fair, I never asked them to do this, and was not really complaining to get this. I was just politely ranting.
As long as you rant in a civil manner, you might get somewhere | | | Signature? We don't need no stinking... hang on, this has been done... blast [oooh now in Widescreen] Ah... well you see.... I thought I'd say something more interesting... but cannot think of anything..... oh well And to those of you who have disabled viewing of these signature files "hello" (or not) Registered: July 27, 2004 |
