Can you believe Google.com  / google.ca  is not responding.. !!  At first I thought my web/internet was down till I was able to access other sites  .. including here .. I keep going back and it is not opening ,,
giving me:

Invalid URL

The requested URL "/", is invalid.

Weird . I've never known this to happen to such a Major Search engine .,......

I'm sure it will be back soon .. ( let me check again ( 6:16 pm pst ) ...... Nope still down .......

Me too.  In fact, have been looking stuff up for the last half hour or so.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Flush your DNS-cache (Temporary Internet Files) and check if this still occurs.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Each geographic area will likely end up in a different location. PING the domain to get it's IP address if you're still affected.

well no I said at 7:45pm it was back working again .. then I said It must have been a territorial thing.. as I tried two PC's as well as my I-phone and I could go to any url.. except www.google's url link .. gave me that error message ......  I thought it was strange as I have found as an example numerous times when Invleos is down  or maybe Facebook coudl be down.. But never Google.. it is like the Kingpin of sites and is fairly tolerable to a blackout like it was yesterday ... But then again maybe only in the upper pacific northwest .. I'd be curious to know if any others here found they couldn't get onto Google for an hour or less(more?) yesterday the 16th  .
