E.T.'s people in Phantom Menace... |

| | Posted: | | | | So I have been watching the Star Wars Blu-rays this week...the picture quality is quite good, by the way. So good, in fact, that I noticed, for the first time, the nod to Spielberg with the inclusion of E.T.'s people in the scene at the Senate.
It was new to me so was wondering, had anybody else noticed this before? | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

I only new about R2-D2...will have to look for the other two. Firefly: Spoiler: (Select to view)When Roslin has her appointment and learns that she has cancer you see a lot of ships flying overhead. One of them is a Firefly-class. Millenium Falcon: Spoiler: (Select to view)The MF is supposedly one of the ships attacking the Borg cube in the beginning. But I've never been able to spot it because TV / DVD resolution is just not good enough. Maybe one day on Blu-ray. BTW: Did you ever discover the easter egg Enterprise in Airplane II?  | | | Karsten
