| | Posted: | | | | The Lion King 1 1/2 was the third movie released. In some territories, it was called "The Lion King 3: Hakuna Matada." In Disney's recent Lion King Trilogy set though, it was placed second in the series. What is the correct order in which to watch the series? |

But, to me, they've always seemed like stand alones where you could watch them 1, 2, 3 or 1, 3, 2.
