| Posted: | | | | Will Invelos ever go beyond DVD Profiler and make other collection software? I would love to see them make one for books. I would buy it up in a heart beat if it was even half as good as DVD Profiler, because that would still be better then the cataloging software I use for my books now.
Anyone else want to weigh in on this? Maybe this have bee discussed before and I just could not find the thread on it. |

| Posted: | | | | I'm afraid this has been asked for many times.
Sometimes the best way to search for particular thread is to Google and type in Invelos and whatever you are searching for.

| Posted: | | | | Not that I don't want Invelos to develop something else, anyway this isn't my bussiness at all, but personally I don't have anything else to profile. |

| Posted: | | | | If you take note of the extremely slow development of DVD Profiler products, like the web access, an Android app, enhancements/requested improvements to the main program, you may want to look to other developers for products requiring a complete new direction.
Now if someone else were to develop an Invelos-like product for books, I would be very much in favour. But Invelos taking development time away from DVD Profiler and its related products could mean the ultimate stasis.
So I would love to see other (high-quality) cataloging software, but not necessarily (or preferably not) from Invelos. | | | Hans | | | Last edited: by Staid S Barr |

As I understand it, Ken was the only member of that group, Intervocative Software, that developed a viable product...which is what led to the split. I liked Jessie, but he wasn't developing any new products. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | Thanks for all the help and information everyone. I guess I will have to look for something better out there. I currently use Book Colletorz, but I am disappointed in their lack of innovation with their software. I wish it looked half as good as DVD Profiler 3. |

| Posted: | | | | You could try to use "Custom Collection Types" that are already integrated in DVDProfiler. You wouldn't have any Online-functionalty ( ). But when installing it on another machine you could even customize the names of the datafields (by using the " Master Translation Source"). | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
