| Posted: | | | | Two weeks ago (on my birthday) I almost died. I'm better now thank heaven! One thing I've started thinking about is how my family will deal with my DVD collection. I've started preparing for such a situation. I have a few region 2 disks, and a few out of print discs as well. I cannot stress enough that others also prepare, How will your family handle your collection if the worst happens to you? Just something t think about,.. | Posted: | | | | When I am dead, I will not care.
I imagine my wife will distribute parts of my stuff to the children and keeps what she wants and sells the collectable stuff for a reasonable price. My insurance will pay off the house and the credit card bills.
I hope everyone thinks kindly of me, and ignores the porn they find. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

| Posted: | | | | Why should I care what happens to my things after my death?
The things I care for are those that I'm responsible for, because they can't take care of themselves. My three dogs for example, and in fact this has been taken care of. But my DVD collection, my books, my car, my house? I can't take them with me and they won't miss me, why should I care? | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! | Posted: | | | | I consider myself first and foremost a film archivist/historian. I have seen far too many great films lost to the ravages of time. Therefore my collection is being left to the Florida State University film school. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

| Posted: | | | | I don't have an official last will or something but I have a letter in my desk where I wrote down such stuff should I be getting killed by a car tomorrow.
It deals with my DVD collection, comic collection, my website projects and so on.
My DVDs will simply be spread out amongst my family and friends and the ones no one wants or already everybody has will go to the local library. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Hopefully by the time I die of old age, DVDs won't exist anymore and we'll have moved into the age of truly 3D films stored on digital cubes. Lock the cube into the player slot similar to classic video game carriages, press play, and the film is projected upwards in a dome shape that you can watch from every angle | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.
