For that price, I hope it comes with one of the horcruxes. Preferrably with "Nagini" But knowing the average quality of boxset gimmicks it would probably look like this: | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | I've read about this. It's looks kind of cool but the first 3 or is it 4? movies don't have the extra discs that were originally put out. So if you waited until the end for this, you're losing out and if you didn't, you have all the discs already, basically. It does have extra "stuff," like a Marauder's Map but if you look at just the discs, it's really not worth the price. And this is coming from a HUGE Harry Potter fan (as in I have wand replicas and clothing and the books and... fan)! | | | Lori |

| Posted: | | | | The description, at least the one at Amazon.com, says that it contains "more than 37 hours of special features including all previously released materials and more than 10 hours of new to disc bonus content, and 5 hours of never-before-seen material," so, I am wondering what is missing as well.
Btw, it is $349.99 here in the states. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. | Posted: | | | | Here's a link to more details about the set. It has a small video showing it off, too. I can't, however, find the link that I saw detailing what it is missing, but after reading a few more reviews, I think it's the extended cuts of the first two movies. You only get the theatrical version. I wish I could find the original comparison I read. Thought it was on DVD Talk forums, but can't hunt it down. I just know that when I read it, I was disappointed in what was missing as it didn't make it worth it to me to buy as it does look like a cool set. | | | Lori | | | Last edited: by LJG |

| Posted: | | | | I already own all the Ultimate Editions except for the 2 Deathly Hallows releases, so I'm just going to wait for Warner to release those to complete my collection. Any new material I'm sure I'll be able to find on Youtube one day. |

That box just looks like overpriced stiff cardstock to me, at least from the pictures and video that's been released thus far. Even the upcoming Bond 22-film Blu-ray set seems affordable in comparison... | | | Corey |

Current price at Amazon.UK is £ 90,- which is ~ £ 4.10 per movie. I call that a bargain | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! | Posted: | | | | A bargain - yes... but still messes up the fact I bought a few of them already and it doesn't look like the ones I don't have will ever be released in that style. Not sure whether to bite the bullet and attempt to re-sell those I have or wait... | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

| Posted: | | | | One thing of note in the UK regarding the Ultimate Editions...the extended version of the first two films are on DVD ONLY!!!!! Why would anyone buy blu-ray for a DVD extended edition?
So, I am assuming that this boxset will only included the DVD versions too - at least in the UK. |

That's really strange, the US Ultimate Edition Blu-rays (both are region-free) of the first two films have the extended versions. I really don't understand Warner's methodology of these things... | | | Corey |
