| Posted: | | | | Been looking at buying some posters recently and made my first couple of purchases today. Ended up purchasing UK Quads of "Slavers" (1978) and "Heavy Metal" (1981) as my first two purchases... Anyway, would love to see some pics of folks posters to give me even more ideas! |

| Posted: | | | | No, got them pretty cheap...
Slavers was only £6 including delivery (seller has best offer on and accepted a lowball I gave him). Heavy Metal was £14.49 including delivery via auction. Both from sellers with loads of feedback and who only sell original posters. I did see Heavy Metal is generally listed between £50-85 on most websites in the same condition, but I have noticed Buy It Nows on eBay are far more expensive than what happens when they come up in a normal auction. Generally though, it looks as it is a loooooong wait to see many titles listed in an auction format on eBay UK. Did see a Dr Who go for £600+ and a couple of Hammer Horrors over £150 today when browsing but I think most of the less sought after titles go for between £10-20 and there are plenty of sweet looking ones I want (pre-1990). | | | Last edited: by samuelrichardscott |

Ebay is full of BIN men as they have come to be known. There used to be a shop on coburn street in Edinburgh that had lot's of old original movie poster's the cinemas had flogged off to them once there was no use for them. Don't think it's still there though, but they had some rather interesting poster's. |
