My first job, January 1960, after discharge from the USAF was with UNIVAC. I was sent to school in Philadelphia for the last class on the maintenance of the UNIVAC I. I was setting in a cafe and the waitress came over and said the teen age girls sitting at end of row wanted my autograph and that I was some sort of rock star from American Bandstand. Since I had just came from three years in Germany I didn't what the hell they were talking about. But Dick Clark and the American Bandstand soon became a favorite to catch up on the "in thing" of pop music. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own.
