| | Posted: | | | | Well tomorrow is one year when I finally decided on a tool to manage my collection and joined this community.
It has had it's up and downs, but more up than down.
I have learned a lot in the past year what it takes to be an effective contributor. I did not want to just grab data others made, but to give back also by contributing. I have more to learn and I am not a perfect contributor, but I try to be effective.
I looked at many tools and this one is by far the best to manage large collections. The only major drawback to it is the vagueness in some of the rules which makes becoming effective difficult since so much internal knowledge is not written down. But fortunately the community is helpful in getting people past that as long as a person shows a willingness to learn. | | | | Last edited: by Scooter1836 |
