| | Posted: | | | | I personally use DVD Profiler itself for it. It's not ideal, but it suits my needs. I made custom "media types" for the different kind of book types (hardcover, paperback, ...). I use the genres as they are. I put the author(s) into the crew listing under (suprise!) writer. I scan the covers myself. I put the language in the subtitle section I'm using tags to determin if it's fiction or non-fiction. Result: Book Profiler | | | Karsten

| | Posted: | | | | The best one I've found is a france-based program called Numento. It's fully customisable and their customer service is great.
It's also still being developed and they are very open to suggestions.
I use it for my books, cds, mp3s and other collectibles....except DVDs because nothing beats profiler. |

I own over 2,000 books and that is not likely to decrease any time soon. I own a Kindle and, while I think it's great, it doesn't replace the feel of an actual book.
However, if anyone wanted to reduce the cost of eBooks across the board and then give me my entire book collection for free I'd probably consider it.
Also, as for Skip and the 'nooks' (!!!!????) statement...have you gone over to entirely digital copies for your DVDs and Blu-rays? No more physical media? |
