Because I'm picking up / upgrading so many titles to Blu-Ray, and because I predominantly use Amazon, I extensively used the price tracking feature of Blu-Ray.com. I'm always amazed at how much you can save by timing your purchases.

So I'd like to know what other sites you guys like.

Also: Other than the Black Friday / Cyber Monday timeframe, what do you see as the best time of year to watch for big price drops?

I'm biased on this one, because I originally wrote it for my personal use:

http://en.sakapo.doena-soft.de/

It's an Amazon Price Observer for various Amazon domains.

You enter your article and your price limit and then you simply wait for the e-mail to come.

In the UK, Find-DVD (and the associated sites for books, CDs and software) is excellent and I use them all the time... as per DJ's site, not only can I check cheapest prices on any DVD/BD, I can pre-program a price point and wait for it to email me with the info on whichever shop hits that price or below.

When I was just buying DVDs (and after I had enough in my library not to worry about buying new releases on release date) I was averaging something like 75% off over the year. It's dropped a bit recently due to moving to BDs and also getting interested in limited edition steelbooks but it still runs about 65%+ reduction on average.
It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong

I use find-dvd for all shops but my favourite by a mile is uk.camelcamelcamel.com for Amazon and the Marketplace because I can see graphs of how the price has fluctuated, the highest and lowest prices the items have ever been, and set seperate alerts for Amazon, Marketplace New and Marketplace Used.
