As a single release in my collection, probably Evil Unleashed: The Mummy. That movie is just beyond bad. I got it in a set with a couple of other movies...and really still need to get rid of it!

That's easy: Artie Lange's Beer League. The most misogynistic, idiotic movie I've ever seen. I got it because it was in that cheap Echo Bridge 20-pack and because I confused it with Broken Lizard's Beerfest.

I am not fond of threads which discuss the worst of anything, and what we dislike or even hate.

I know I am stepping over a line here, but I feel like the idea of listing one or more things you dislike is a form of trolling. Yes, I am aware that I am acting like my definition of a troll. Sorry.

So I will exit quietly, and not speak ill of any film. Hate is a waste of time.

I guess I will troll back.  Why did you even present your opinion then if you knew you were trolling?  We all have different tastes in movies and one person's hate is another person's favorite film.  I was honestly trying to spark conversation about films in this post.  As I mentioned in another post I am a Corman fan, I know there are those people on here who really dislike or forgive the word HATE his work.  I was hoping that merits could be found in any movie listed if not so obscure only one person here had seen the film, sorry Jimmy, that someone would be like you know the movie wasn't the greatest but if you look at this aspect it really wasn't all that bad.  I will not ask for forgiveness for creating this thread but will say it was NOT my intension to offend anyone.

Here's my prejudice: I have noticed that some participants of internet forums (not just this one, but nearly every forum I've participated in... many over the years) will create many threads asking members to list terrible "whatevers" and then when people (or music, or films, or artworks, or guitars, or musicians, etc) are posted, the thread creator will answer nearly every post arguing against whatever/whomever was suggested. Really obvious trolling.

Right now, you have "Out of all the movies you have ever seen which one do you hate the most and is it in your collection?" "DVD releases that look horrible on your HD TV" and "What are we anyway?" on the front page (and when I made my earlier post, those where the top 3 in the General Discussion, and you were the last to post in all three threads). You seem to accept other people's opinions (and that's great) unlike most of these threads here and elsewhere.

The last time I objected to one of those threads, the thread creator posted that I must forgive him because he was autistic and enjoyed trolling people. And because he was admitting he was autistic, he was exempt from any type of criticism for his bad behavior. I am not saying you are similar... but this and the other threads could easily turn out like that. The threads' subjects are troll questions... and I would just prefer to lighten up.

I dislike the film "Gone with the Wind" but I have VHS, two DVD sets and Blu-ray deluxe sets in my collection. I like the film's first half, but the second half is five times faster than they ought to be ... and to me... highly unpleasant. My wife and youngest daughter love the film... so I own good ones. I practice guitar, electric bass, or ukulele when they watch it. My daughter loves "Breakfast at Tiffany's" but Mickey Rooney's character and his acting is too offensive for me to enjoy anything about the film. So if anyone defends these films, I will feel trolled.

I admit I own films I do not enjoy. But what possible pleasure could you (or anyone) get from knowing that I dislike these films? It's trolling.

Personally, I disagree with everything you said...except for your feelings about Gone With the Wind and Breakfast at Tiffany's.
Both are in my partner's top 10, and both are highly overrated in my opinion (especially Tiffanys which has no plot and Mickey's awful performance).

Now, by agreeing with you on the pertinent subject of movies am I not trolling?

If someone gets nasty in their defense of a film then maybe I'll agree; but currently in all the threads you mention there has been none of that. We've all be adult enough to see these discussions for what they are: a moment of interest and diversion amongst the many miserable and angry threads.
