| Posted: | | | | First, I use the iOS version of DVD Profiler only. My iPad recently crashed and I had to restore from iCloud. Worked great, but when I opened app about half of the cover images were gone (default winding film strip). Updating the local collection database doesn't help.
Any other options? Any way to delete and reload without having to rescan my entire collection? Thanks |

| Posted: | | | | Yes. I update the database, it goes through the process, and reports that it updated okay. Still no change in the missing cover art. Everything else seems correct for each disc. |

| Posted: | | | | Sure. FYI, I only have about 200 discs (all blu-ray) in the collection with about half showing up correctly. As examples . . .
2001 A Space Odyssey shows up correctly 0 12569 79838 0
300 does not show up correctly 0 85391 16103 5
I initially used the scan feature to load virtually all of the titles. |

| Posted: | | | | I just tried 300 and the cover downloads for me. So it's not a problem with the online database not having the cover. That would at least have solved the problem. Is there a setting for syncing covers under "databases" - "update" - "more options"? |

| Posted: | | | | Perhaps selecting a different quality for the photos will help. Change them to be bigger or smaller to attempt to force it to re-download photos.
When you go to Update Database, click on More Options. There you'll be able to change the image sizes. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

| Posted: | | | | Well, nothing working. On the iPad app, my only option to update the database is simply to "update". There's no "more options" setting available. Also, the only picture size option is in settings. There is a hi-res thumbnail on/off option.
At this point I've tried every setting optin and tried to update between each step. I'm afraid my only option is to delete the database and start from scratch . . . |

| Posted: | | | | Before you start from scratch, I would suggest that you delete a single profile that doesn't have the image and then re-add it to see if it fixes the problem for that profile.
Once you get it solved, which ever way you solve it, I do reccomend uploading your collection to the invelos website. That way, if anything happens to your iPad collection, you can simply download it from there. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | So I tried to delete one disc and reload by manually entering the UPC code. Worked great and cover loaded perfectly.
Still don't know how my missing cover problem started but I accidentally found a solution. First I went to the Invelos website and created a free online account. From my iPad I went to Databases and changed the connection type from Local to Connect Via DVD Profiler Online. This allowed me to upload my collection to the online account. I then downloaded the collection at which point it overwrote my local information, which replaced all my covers with new versions from Invelos.
Problem solved! |

| Posted: | | | | Same thing happened to me. In my case I was using the online database and keeping it updated. I was also regularly backing up my iPhone. My iPhone was damaged and had to be replaced over the weekend and once I restored all of my cover images were gone.
Since my online database was up to date, I did a database download and - though it took nearly 15 minutes for the 3000+ DVDs/Blu-Rays I have - all of the images are back.
Didn't realize they wouldn't be part of my iPhone backup, but boy am I glad I keep my DVD Profiler online database up to date as well!

| Posted: | | | | I had this issue too and it drove me nuts. Here is how I fixed it... Select the option to sync and make sure you slide "Get Invelos Updates" to ON. /Kevin |
