I am contributing a change to Shaun the Sheep: Season 2: UPC 884487111103

When I get to the contribution page, the original contribution shows Box Set data.

But, when I go to the Add a DVD page, the discs are not there.

I deleted this profile and reinstalled it. The database still does not have that data nor does it add the Box Set data to this profile.

Why? And how can it be fixed?

The original contributor made a box set, but didn't contribute the child profiles. So the child profiles are linked, but they're not available for download yet.

Add a random profile to the box, and remove it immediately. Then, when you contribute, you'll see the box set entries on the contribution page.

Thank you - I had a senior moment and couldn't figure it out.

Once again my computer can not read the disc id despite playing on both the computer and DVD player.

Invelos - PLEASE allow us to enter the disc id manually. I can clearly see the numbers/letters on the disc and would contribute the data if I could.

I used the "Clone Children from DiscIDs"-function of the BulkEdit Plugin to create the necessary profiles:
Disc 1
Disc 2
Download those and double click to add them to your collection.
Warning: The profiles are exact clones, you have to check everything!

You can see E5A43A2F235D54FF and 57895AA8F2924FEF on the discs? Yes I know there are numbers on the inner ring, but are those really this numbers?

Mithi,

I'm old, computer illiterate and find most technological programs too hard to figure out.

The Bulk Edit was so easy and it worked perfectly.

This problem has happened to me many times - the plug in will save me a lot of aggravation.

Thank you.

Edit: I was wrong - it was only easy when I could click on the link. I tried to do the same thing with Season 1 of the same series and got totally lost.

Is there a worksheet or the like that will guide me step by step through the process?

I'm glad, but it is even easier.

Just flag the profiles you want to work on, then click Tools>BulkEdit.

(1) Check "Disc Information," DiscID Side A, and any other fields you want to edit
(2) Load Flagged Profiles - you get a spreadsheet
(3) Make your changes (the changed cells will change color). Make sure to move the cursor from the last field you change, so that the change will "stick"
(4) File>Save Validated Changes. You will see the cell color change back to normal, and your revised data (e.g. Disc ID).
Thanks for your support.
