I'm increasingly finding charity shops (as there called here) a great place to find DvDs. So i thought it be an idea to make a thread for ppl to post what they have found, and bought.

Today i got: Major Dundee: SE £1.00 (disc looks like it has never been watched)
                  Scrooge: 50th Anniversary (1951) £1.00
                  Ice Cold In Alex £1.99

Just some I've bought from Goodwill.

Army Wives Seasons 1-5 for $3.99 each
The Six Million Dollar Man: Pilot TV Movies and Season 1 $4.99
The Waltons: The Complete Fifth Season $4.99
Alias Seasons 1-3 $4.99 each
Frankie & Annette: MGM Movie Legends Collection $4.99
Esther Williams Volume 1 $4.99
My Chauffeur $1.99
Miami Vice Blu-ray still sealed with Target clearance sticker $4.99
Bobby Deerfield $1.99
I Love You, Man sealed $2.99
Reno 911!: The Complete Third Season: Uncensored! $1.99
Deathtrap 99 cents
The Bob Newhart Show seasons 1-2 $1.99 each
Hogan Knows Best Seasons 1, 2 & 3 still sealed $1.99
Scrubs seasons 1-4 $2.99 each
Inglourious Basterds blu-ray $1.99
South Park seasons 1-4 $1.99 each
The Hangover blu-ray $2.99
Kung Fu seasons 1-3 $2.99 each

Years ago they used to keep the discs behind the counter in a binder with the cases on the shelves. They stopped that and now just put the entire case and discs inside on the shelves which allows me to check the condition of the discs. Which is really required because some discs look like someone took sandpaper to it.

Must be nice because around here, there's one place (St. Vincent's De Paul) that still has VHS tapes priced at $5!

I buy from charity shops all the time (pretty much every weekend) and they're a great source of CDs & some DVDs.

Recently I saw 3 complete VHS seasons of The X-Files for £5!!! That's £5 for all three! I remember paying between £55-£75 for mine!

Recently bought from charity were:
Mutant Chronicles BD
Into the Electric Mist BD
£3 each.

Yep, hit up the charity shops plenty.  My closest one keeps their dvds/blu-rays for me before putting them out on general sale.
